Our local food store opened three weeks ago and I have to say that we are rather encouraged by the response of patrons.
So far the hits have been prepared foods and meat. However the sleeper hit that we can barely keep in stock is produce and cheese. We know that we are the only store near and far that do a "cut from the block" type of artisanal cheese store however we are starting to see people from as far as Kincardine coming only for the cheese!
